The Dashboard
The dashboard is the first page after you sign in. Its widgets show where the business stands without opening a report.

Can't find it?
What you see depends on your role. If the menu, a button or a setting on this page is missing, ask your administrator to give you the permission listed above or to turn on the feature. Only administrators can turn features on and change site settings.
The widgets
The business setup adds these widgets:

| Profit this year, Profit this month | Income, cost of sales, gross profit, expenses net of other income and net profit from the books, with the net margin and a link to the profit and loss |
| Category margins this month | The margin of each category you bought stock for, largest sales first, and the margin of them all; a link to the performance report |
| Daily close (stores) | The last seven days, each with its over or short or Not closed; select a day to open its daily close |
A widget you do not have the permission for shows a short note instead of its figures.
Change the dashboard
- Select Manage Dashboard.
- To add a widget, choose it under Create and give it a title.
- Select a widget's Edit to change what it shows:
- Shows (income summary, category margins): this month, last month, this fiscal year to date, or the last fiscal year.
- Categories (category margins): how many categories to list.
- Days to show (daily close): how many days, ending yesterday.
- Drag widgets to reorder them and drag their corner to resize them; Delete removes one.
The fiscal year follows the first month set in Business profile.
